STFC were pleased to be invited to participate in the UK Quantum Skills Taskforce. Led by DSIT, this collective group from industry, academia and government was put together to ensure the UK has the skills to develop and adopt quantum technologies in order to realise the benefits to society from their applications and to enable future economic growth.
The STFC Skills Centre participated in the working group looking at apprenticeships – there was widespread agreement around the approach of providing quantum-specific knowledge and skills to augment existing apprenticeship standards.
